How the Process Works________________________________________________
Free Estimate
Either Bob Sr. or Bob Jr. will come to you home, take a look at your basement...then
we give you a clear, written estimate of the services rendered....along with a
computer generated sketch.
File for Permits
Upon agreement, we then file for permits in your local town. Once permit is issued,
then we start the initial work.
Rough Framing- (Approx 3 days depending on your basement size.)
We then start rough framing of all your exterior/interior walls and soffits.
Rough Electric- (Approx 1-2 days depending on your basement size)
Our Electrician starts the rough wiring for all your outlets, switches, & high hats
Fire Stopping - (1/2 day)
We fire stop all your exterior walls and vertical firestops every 10 feet.
1st Inspection
We schedule your rough framing, rough electric, and fire.
Insulation - (1 day)
Once all 3 roughs pass, then we insulate all your exterior walls and ceiling*
(If applies)
Insulation Inspection
Once fully insulated, then we schedule an insulation inspection.
Sheetrock- (Approx 5 days)
Upon passing of the insulation inspection, we now sheetrock all walls and ceilings.....spackle then sand.
Doors & Trim (Approx 2 days)
Once sheetrock is complete, we then hang all interior doors, install door hardware,
lay all the basemolding and trim.
Final Inspections
Once doors and trim are complete, we then schedule final electric, building, & fire.
